Adolescent mental health care remains an area that is disjointed and under-resourced. Without community support and subsidies to fill the gaps, mental health issues in children often go untreated due to a lack of financial resources and awareness of where to find or access help.

As a Foundation, we want to help address these gaps.

Supporting strong mental health in young people takes a community. A comprehensive model where professionals are trained in specialized treatment – and have funding in place to help those in need.

Big or small, your donation will empower children and adolescents in the Calgary area to live healthy, productive lives.  Donor dollars make all the difference – and sometimes save lives – by ensuring help is available to the children who most need it.

Lionheart Foundation uses Canada Helps to process our online donations. Canada Helps is a registered charity that processes secure, online donations on behalf of Canada’s 80,000+ registered charitable organizations. When you receive your credit card bill, the payee will appear as “Canada Helps,” but you can be assured that your donation comes to Lionheart Foundation. You will automatically receive your tax receipt according to your settings on Canada Helps.
