Lionheart Foundation offers therapeutic support to young people between the ages of 12-25 who reside in the Calgary area and struggle with internalizing anxiety-based mental health conditions in the mild to moderate range. The distinction between internalizing and externalizing disorders is important in determining fit for services with the Lionheart Foundation. We specialize in the treatment of the following: generalized anxiety, panic disorders, disordered eating (clients must be medically stable), mild to moderate mood disorders and mild to moderate trauma.
Please note that Lionheart Foundation is unable to provide assessments and treat the following: personality disorders, substance abuse, moderate to severe OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, learning disabilities, anger management, bipolar disorder, any conflict/abuse/custody file currently with the court system.
