Lindsay Huculak – Therapies and Treatments
The past 5 years of her professional focus has been working with anxiety-based behaviours with the adolescent population, gaining a wealth of experience working within a specialized private practice as an associate before transitioning to her own practice. Lindsay’s clinical approach is informed primarily by attachment theory, Emotion Focused Family Therapy, interpersonal neuropsychology, and relational psychotherapy – she is also trained in Eye Movement and Desensitization Therapy and readily utilizes this modality in her practice.
Lindsay is passionate about working with youth and their families to help connect and strengthen the relationships within the family unit. Involving the parents and/or guardians in a young person’s therapeutic journey is important to Lindsay as she sees the value in providing youth an opportunity to be seen, heard, and understood by the important people in their lives and she understands that many families need support and guidance along the way. Lindsay is very grateful to be able to offer the support of the Lionheart foundation subsidy to those clients who aren’t able to access private care due to financial constraints.
