As a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Registered Art Therapist, Kristin draws on over 20 years of experience working in the fields of mental health and creativity. She offers individual counselling and art therapy sessions for children, teens and families, as well as a variety of art groups and workshops. Issues addressed range from anxiety-based concerns to trauma, grief and overall self care.
All sessions take place in a warm and welcoming studio environment. Her approach is unique and specialized, informed by advanced training in EMDR, EFFT, CBT, interpersonal neurobiology, expressive arts and mindfulness practices. She especially enjoys working with girls and young women to help them process life and develop a unique and empowered identity for themselves. Parents are welcomed in this process.
Kristin’s counselling approach is rooted in the belief that authentic human connection, emotional expression and creativity are all key to our health and wellness.
