Heidi’s professional experience spans three decades in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. As a seasoned communications and fundraising professional, she raised millions for Canadian charities, including The Canadian Women’s Foundation, The Alberta Cancer Foundation and The University of Calgary.
Making a career pivot at 40, Heidi now works to support individuals and families navigating family breakdowns and divorce. She retrained to become a CDC® Certified Divorce Coach, CDC® Certified Transition & Recovery Coach, guiding individuals and families to success and happiness in their new normal. She is a member of the National Safe Parents Coalition, The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and The High Conflict Institute.
Growing up in a family where community service volunteering was a priority, she became involved in volunteering at a very young age, spending 20 years as a Stampede volunteer, including Chairing the Stampede Talent Search Committee, and acting as in a Presidential appointment to the Stampede’s Nominating and Shareholder Relations Committee. She continues to volunteer at many other community-based organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Inn from the Cold, and the Discovery House Family Violence Prevention Society, to name a few. She has been a member of the Lionheart Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2012.
As a mother of four teenagers, two daughters of her own, a step-daughter and step-son, Heidi is deeply committed to ensuring our adolescents can grow up in a world where they have access to the right support as they face life’s challenges, regardless of their financial resources.
