Since 1984, Carol Ann has developed a diverse portfolio in the interior design industry. She has worked both in Canada and for a time in Paris, France and in 1993, she established her own consultancy, Urban Life Design. Carol Ann has always been active in the not-for-profit community, dedicating her time and resources to women and their families. Her two primary charitable focuses have been the founding of the Girl’s Gathering event which for 18 years has supported the YWCA / Sheriff King Home, and her work as a director at Lionheart Foundation since 2012. Her desire to invest in Lionheart is in part due to her family’s involvement in working with the mental health issues of children, adolescents and their families.
Carol Ann brings to Lionheart her passion for community work and in particular for the mental health challenges faced by adolescents and young adults. Carol Ann’s conviction to the cause is in part a response to the gaps she sees in the public health system and a desire to see access to best in class help for all of those in need, irrespective of financial resources.
